Project Description:
The project includes the renovation of portions of a 1950’s building, as well as construction of a new Career & Technical Education workshop building and construction / demonstration yard supporting the College’s Construction Technology Program, a Career & Technical Education program.
The 9,966 ASF, single story renovated portion of the existing facilities will support various components of the program including:
• A computer lab
• HVAC
• CNC Machine Tooling
• A generic / shared workshop
• Indoor Material storage
• Faculty offices
The 3,067 ASF of new construction will include:
• Carpentry
• A lecture classroom
• A Tool Crib for storage and checkout
• Restrooms
• Covered materials storage
Work Yard improvements include the following:
• Outdoor classroom
• Concrete pads for instruction in framing and carpentry
• Student Lockers
